BNDES Card: use yours at Lamiex

Did you know that Lamiex is affiliated with the BNDES card? This means that the company is part of the list of suppliers registered in this line of loans that helps micro, small, and medium-sized companies to invest in their businesses. But how does the BNDES card work and how do you know if your company can take advantage of this line of credit? We will clear all your doubts below.

What is the BNDES card?

During the pandemic, 60% of small businesses had their credit application denied. These data from Sebrae show how difficult it can be for companies to obtain financial resources to invest in their businesses. And it is precisely to contribute in this regard that Lamiex is registered with the BNDES card.

In simplified terms, the BNDES card is a product of the National Bank for Economic and Social Development aimed at legal entities. With special interest and installment plan conditions, it offers a pre-approved credit line that can be used to acquire products and services related to the company’s activities.

Benefits

Among the main benefits of the BNDES card, the following stand out:

  • Terms of up to 48 monthly installments;
  • Fixed interest rate;
  • Credit limit of up to BRL2 million per bank*;
  • Interest rates more affordable than other types of credit for legal entities;
  • No monthly and annual fee.

*It is worth mentioning that the banks are responsible for defining the card margin, which will be determined according to profile assessment and other factors.

How does it work?

The BNDES card works like a conventional credit card, which can be used to pay bills at partner companies, such as Lamiex. To do so, simply apply through the BNDES Card Operations Portal and follow the instructions.

It is worth mentioning that it is also necessary to have a current account at one of the issuing banks. Some examples include:

  • Banco do Brasil;
  • Itaú;
  • Caixa Econômica Federal;
  • Santander;
  • Sicoob;
  • Sicredi;
  • Among others.

It Is Important To Know:

  • The interest rate is determined monthly, and the one in effect at the time of purchase is maintained until the end of the loan.
  • The issuing bank may request real or personal guarantees to allow the issuance of the BNDES card;
  • Charges for subsequent invoices are charged via direct debit;
  • The company can have the card in more than one issuing bank and add their limits to make purchases;
  • Information such as limit, credit granting and collection are the responsibility of the issuing bank.
  • The issuing bank may charge an administrative fee, known as a TAC (Credit Opening Fee). It can be charged at the time of opening the credit and cannot exceed 2% of the credit limit granted. This fee is not required by BNDES and must be exclusively used to reimburse the issuing bank’s operating costs.

Who can apply for the BNDES card?

The BNDES card is a line of credit for legal entities, specifically for micro, small and medium-sized national companies, with gross revenues of up to BRL R$300 million, and whose economic activities are supported by BNDES. It is worth mentioning that, to obtain the benefit, the company must be up to date with the INSS, FGTS, Rais, and federal taxes.

Rural producers also have this advantage. In this case, they must apply for the BNDES Agro Card, available at the Sicoob bank.
